EY’s GDS Indirect Tax Global Trade Technology team’s mission is to develop, implement and integrate technology solutions for Global Trade that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY’s core Tax practice, you’ll develop a knowledge of Global Trade, outstanding database and programming skills to develop and maintain innovative solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis
• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but
• not limited to .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Revise, update, and debug code
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Should be a good team player to achieve self and team goals.
• Ability to switch with ease between individual and team contributor roles.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Master’s degree preferred
• 0 -1 years of experience in .net technology
• Should have good communication/ analytical / logical / problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in .net technology, MS SQL server, Javascript/jQuery will be an added advantage
• Should be ready to work in rotational shifts including nightshift to support our customers on rotation for a continuous period of at least one month in a year.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Reads and interprets basic software system design and program specifications
• Works with common tools for component-based, object-oriented development, under supervision
