Manager - Industrial Engineering

Your Key Responsibilities

The Industrial Engineering Manager will lead the IE & Technology function, driving product feasibility, process optimization, cost reduction, capacity planning, and strategic manufacturing initiatives. The role will partner closely with Plant

Management and cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, support new product introduction, and enable long-term plant growth and footprint planning.

• Lead and manage the Industrial Engineering & Technology team, including talent development and capability building.
• Drive product feasibility studies, risk assessments, and support new product development initiatives.
• Manage RFQ activities, Initial Order Process (IOP), and manufacturing cost estimations.
• Develop machine concepts, investment proposals, and project/product profitability analysis (PPA).
• Lead strategic plant footprint planning and long-term capacity planning in collaboration with Plant and Division Management.
• Drive process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Manage budgeting activities including machine tariff calculations, MRP planning, and master data preparation.
• Ensure creation and maintenance of SAP master data including BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, and production structures.
• Oversee capacity management and RCNP (Rough Capacity Network Planning).
• Utilize Power BI and data analytics tools for management reporting and decision-making.
• Drive Value Stream Management through accurate manufacturing data analysis and machine allocation tools.
• Lead project management, product changes, and process change management initiatives.

• Significant experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Excellence within a  manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and manufacturing master data management.
• Expertise in capacity planning, process optimization, budgeting, costing, and investment planning.
• Experience in RFQ costing, product feasibility analysis, and new product introduction (NPI).
• Knowledge of Power BI, manufacturing analytics, and data-driven decision making.
• Strong project management and change management capabilities.
• Proven people management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Technology, Finance/Controlling, HR, and Supply Chain.
• hands on with MTM, Process Mapping, Cycle time calculations, Grinding / honing technology, New product cycle time.
• BOM creation in SAP, routing activities in SAP, SAP HANA, New investments project, Plant Budgeting activities.
• Time study motion study, work place ergonomics, layout design, Profitability analysis product vise, foot print planning ( long term planning).
• Power BI and Excel tools, machine time calculations, capacity planning, change management, RFQ management.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Production, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Expereince - 12  - 18 Years.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial engineering principles, and production systems.

Locaion - Savli - Vadodara 

Work from Plant -  5 days week.
