Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end execution of rooftop solar projects.

· Plan and monitor project activities, timelines, manpower, materials, and site progress.

· Conduct and supervise site surveys, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

· Read and understand SLD, electrical drawings, layout drawings, and other technical diagrams.

· Have strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, AC/DC systems, earthing, cabling, protection systems, and electrical panels.

· Coordinate with site engineers, technicians, vendors, contractors, and clients for smooth project execution.

· Monitor installation of solar modules, mounting structures, inverters, ACDB/DCDB, cables, earthing, and other system components.

· Identify technical/site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.

· Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

· The role involves regular travel to project sites.

· Coordinate with the Main Project Manager and Sr. Project Coordinator regarding project progress, technical issues, manpower, material requirements, and deadlines.

· Prepare and maintain project progress reports, site reports, checklists, and required documentation.

· Monitor material requirements and coordinate with the supply chain/procurement team.

· Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders during project execution.

· Ensure projects are completed within the planned timeline, quality standards, and budget.

· Support testing, commissioning, inspection, and final project handover.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of Rooftop Solar PV systems and project execution.

· Good understanding of solar plant design, SLD, electrical drawings, and layouts.

· Good knowledge of inverters, AC/DC systems, electrical panels, cabling, earthing, and protection systems.

· Strong site management and team coordination skills.

· Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and project documentation.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.

· Good communication and client-handling skills.
