Job Purpose

We are seeking a high-performing Sales & Service Manager to lead our HVAC operations and customer relations. You will bridge the gap between technical service delivery and business growth. This role is critical in managing our 5,000+ customer base, driving Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) renewals, overseeing spare parts logistics, and ensuring absolute customer satisfaction. [2, 3]

Key Responsibilities

• Customer & Relationship ManagementMaintain and strengthen relationships with our 5,000+ existing clients across Mumbai.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high retention rates.
• Visit client sites periodically to evaluate service quality and identify new business needs.
• AMC & Sales OperationsDrive the strategy for Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) renewals and new acquisitions.
• Manage the complete invoicing and AMC payment collection lifecycle to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Prepare service quotes, negotiate contract terms, and meet quarterly revenue targets.
• Service Delivery & Team ManagementOversee routine, preventive, and breakdown service schedules for technicians.
• Monitor team KPIs, including response time, first-time-fix rates, and customer feedback.
• Ensure all field technicians adhere to safety standards and technical protocols. [4]
• Operations & Inventory ManagementSupervise spare parts management, including inventory tracking, forecasting, and procurement.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of authentic HVAC parts.
• Optimize operational costs while maintaining high service quality.
• Conflict Resolution & EscalationServe as the ultimate point for complaint escalation, resolving complex technical or commercial issues.
• Turn challenging customer situations into positive experiences through swift, empathetic conflict resolution.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring complaints to prevent future issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering. An MBA in Operations or Marketing is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC service industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Geographical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Mumbai commercial and residential geography.
• Technical Prowess: Strong understanding of VRF/VRV systems, chillers, ductable units, and split/cassette ACs.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Tools: Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
