Pre-sales/Tech Support Engineer

Core Roles & Responsibilities :

• Senior Pre-Sales Solution Engineer: Leads customer discovery, uncovers network constraints, and showcases XCAL/XCAP hardware and software capabilities.
• Technical Bid & RFP Manager: Reviews technical proposals, answers complex RFQ questionnaires, and ensures compliance with 5G NR/LTE standards.
• Proof of Concept (PoC) & Field Trial Specialist: Leads high-stakes field trials, validates network coverage models, and troubleshoots early-stage interference.
• Technical Sales Enablement Lead: Benchmarks competitive RF test equipment and translates complex physics concepts for non-technical buyers.
• Tier 3 Senior Technical Support Engineer (XCAL/XCAP): Resolves deep technical escalations regarding application installation, licensing, and core software functionality.
• Network KPI Analyst & Support Lead: Investigates client-reported KPI anomalies, resolves report data discrepancies, and performs root cause analysis.
• Device Connectivity Support Specialist: Troubleshoots advanced hardware-to-software interface issues, including UE detection, USB drivers, and connection failures.
• Automation & Scripting Support Engineer: Assists customers in designing complex auto-call scripts and manual test scenarios in mobile modes.
• Field Application Support Liaison: Provides real-time, high-tier troubleshooting to field teams and feeds field insights back to R&D.
• Senior Customer Success & Product Application Engineer: Manages strategic client accounts through proactive software health checks and custom scripting support.
• Technical Account Manager (TAM) – Lab & Field Solutions: Bridges the gap between sales and post-sales support for major telecom operators using XCAL/XCAP systems.

Requirements  :

• 5-7 years of professional experience within the telecommunications sector.
• Deep knowledge of 4G and 5G network architectures and key performance indicators.
• Strong technical troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and resolve complex RF challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships during direct customer interactions.
• Advanced technical writing ability for creating clear proposals and compliance matrices.
• High learning agility to rapidly master new technologies and evolving industry standards.
• Proven track record of translating complex technical concepts into business value for clients.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal product engineering and sales teams.
