E-Commerce Pick & Pack Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented E-Commerce Pick & Pack Operations Manager to manage end-to-end warehouse fulfilment operations, including picking, packing, inventory, manpower, quality, productivity and timely dispatch. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience & Qualification

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in E-commerce, Warehouse, Fulfilment Centre, 3PL, Retail or D2C operations.
• Graduate/MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field preferred.
• Experience in managing high-volume pick & pack operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Pick, Pack, Sort, Staging and Dispatch operations.
• Ensure order accuracy, productivity and SLA/TAT adherence.
• Plan and manage manpower according to order volumes and business requirements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, cycle counts and shrinkage.
• Manage and improve warehouse SOPs and operational processes.
• Track operational KPIs and prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement cost-saving and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Transport, IT, Finance and other departments.
• Manage manpower vendors/3PL partners and ensure service quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and company policies.
• Effectively manage peak-season and high-volume operations.

• Strong E-commerce Pick & Pack Operations knowledge.
• Excellent team and manpower management skills.
• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of WMS/ERP systems.
• Strong MS Excel and MIS reporting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong understanding of SLA, TAT, productivity and quality KPIs.
• Ability to analyse data and take corrective actions.
• Strong process improvement and cost-control mind-set.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume operations.

Preferred Skills

• Power BI / dashboard knowledge.
• Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen knowledge.
• Experience with warehouse automation, barcode/scanner systems or RFID.
• Experience in process implementation and SOP development.
• Proven track record of reducing operational costs and improving productivity.
