About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, manage Import trade related accounting and documents. The candidate must ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data and supporting the organization’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Maintain and update books of accounts accurately

•⁠ ⁠⁠Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

•⁠ ⁠⁠Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

•⁠ ⁠⁠Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

•⁠ ⁠⁠Prepare and file tax returns (GST/VAT/Income Tax, as applicable)

•⁠ ⁠⁠Monitor expenses and control costs

•⁠ ⁠⁠Maintain proper documentation of financial records

Qualifications & Skills

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

•⁠ ⁠⁠Proven experience as an Accountant

•⁠ ⁠⁠Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

•⁠ ⁠⁠Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally,)

•⁠ ⁠⁠Strong MS Excel skills

•⁠ ⁠⁠High attention to detail and accuracy

•⁠ ⁠⁠Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Experience in Imports related accounting and documentation

•⁠ ⁠⁠Experience in taxation and compliance

•⁠ ⁠⁠Experience in audit handling

Standard working hours: 10:00am to 7:00pm
