Academic Counsellor

Key Responsibilities Counsel prospective learners through phone calls, video consultations, and virtual meetings. Conduct detailed need analysis by understanding candidates' educational background, work experience, career objectives, and upskilling requirements. Recommend appropriate certification programs aligned with learners' career goals. Present program curriculum, eligibility criteria, learning outcomes, certification value, fee structure, scholarships, financing options, and career support services. Effectively address objections related to pricing, return on investment (ROI), placements, time commitment, and program suitability. Build strong relationships through consistent follow-ups and nurture leads until successful admission. Maintain accurate and timely updates in the CRM system.Ensure seamless coordination throughout the admission and enrollment process. Consistently achieve monthly admission, revenue, and productivity targets. Deliver a high-quality counselling experience while maintaining professional communication standards. Required Skills & Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong consultative selling and counselling approach. Exceptional persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities. Good understanding of the online education and professional upskilling ecosystem. Ability to explain certification programs across domains such as AI, Data Science, Technology, Management, and Digital Skills. Strong follow-up discipline and CRM management skills. Target-driven mindset with the ability to perform under pressure. Customer-centric attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
