Production Supervisor

We are looking for a technically sound and hands-on Production Engineer to manage day-to-day shop floor activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and be capable of independently handling production planning, process control, manpower management, quality coordination, and continuous improvement activities.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, and monitor daily production activities.
• Supervise shop floor operations, including sheet metal fabrication, stamping, bending, welding, assembly, and machining processes.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare and implement process sheets, work instructions, and production plans.
• Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and overall equipment efficiency.
• Coordinate with the quality department to resolve production-related issues.
• Analyze engineering drawings, manufacturing drawings, and technical specifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce rejection, rework, and cycle time.
• Ensure proper material flow and coordinate with stores for material availability.
• Manage and guide operators, technicians, and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and 5S practices.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to minimize machine downtime.
• Prepare production reports and maintain production records.

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)The candidate should have sound knowledge of:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Press shop and stamping operations.
• Bending and press brake operations.
• MIG welding and fabrication techniques.
• CNC machining operations.
• Production planning and process control.
• Measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Manufacturing process documentation.
