Plant / Factory Head

Role Description :-

The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations at Shiv Fabricators’ facility in Vadodara. This full-time, on-site role includes managing daily production activities, ensuring adherence to client specifications, and optimizing resource utilization. The Plant Head will lead production planning, monitor quality control processes, and coordinate with internal teams to meet delivery timelines and cost targets. Responsibilities also include supervising plant staff, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and maintaining equipment and infrastructure in good working condition. The role involves preparing and reviewing operational reports, supporting budgeting decisions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications:-

• Strong skills in Plant Operations and Production Management to oversee daily fabrication activities and workforce allocation.
• Experience in Production Planning and Budgeting to manage schedules, resources, and cost efficiency.
• Expertise in Quality Control to ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and ZED Silver requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor supervisors, and foster a safe, inclusive, and performance-oriented work environment.
• Solid understanding of metal fabrication processes, structural steel work, and machine shop operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience in fabrication or manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and safety management practices is an advantage.
