About the Role:

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented L1 Network Engineer. The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring network health, troubleshooting connectivity incidents, ensuring maximum uptime across enterprise and client infrastructures, and handling occasional on-site visits for physical troubleshooting or deployment support.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform real-time monitoring of network links, hardware, and infrastructure using tools like Zabbix, Wireshark, or Nagios. Handle initial alert triage, log analysis, and troubleshooting for link drops, high latency, and packet loss. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot basic enterprise switches, routers, and access points (Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, etc.). Conduct occasional site visits for physical network setup, hardware replacement, fiber link check, or on-site vendor coordination.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, field engineers, and ISPs to resolve optical fiber and routing disruptions. Manage support tickets through ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and document resolutions thoroughly for SLA compliance.

Key Requirements & Skills:

• Educational Background: B.Tech / Diploma in ECE, CSE, IT, or equivalent technical background.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals: OSI Model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Static/Dynamic Routing (OSPF), and VLANs.
• Willingness and flexibility to undertake occasional local travel/site visits for network deployment or fault resolution.
• Hands-on familiarity or certification (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, or Cisco Black Belt) is a strong plus. B
• asic familiarity with Linux command lines and basic scripting (Python/Shell/Bash). Strong communication skills and readiness to work in dynamic operational environments.
