Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing, consultative recruiter who understands the nuances of hiring in the education sector—from teachers and coordinators to principals and senior leadership roles. This role goes beyond execution and requires client advisory, stakeholder management, and strategic hiring ownership.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment Ownership

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: requirement intake → sourcing → screening → coordination → closure

Deliver high-quality shortlists for roles across:

• Academic (PGT, TGT, Primary, IB/Cambridge teachers)
• Leadership (Principal, Vice Principal, Head of School)
• Non-academic (Admissions, Operations, Counsellors)

2. Client Advisory & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a strategic hiring partner to school leadership teams
• Understand institutional culture, curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/IB/Cambridge), and hiring priorities
• Provide market insights on compensation, talent availability, and hiring trends

3. Talent Mapping & Headhunting

• Build and maintain a strong database of passive candidates across top schools and institutions
• Proactively identify and approach high-quality candidates (especially leadership roles)
• Conduct competitor and institution-level talent mapping

4. Candidate Assessment & Experience

• Conduct structured interviews to evaluate:
• Pedagogical approach
• Curriculum experience
• Leadership capabilities
• Ensure a seamless and professional candidate journey

5. Process Excellence & Delivery

• Maintain strong TATs (turnaround times) and closure ratios
• Ensure thorough reference checks and validation
• Track pipelines and maintain accurate reporting

Experience & Background

• 0–2 years of recruitment experience (preferably in education hiring / academic recruitment / executive search)

Skillset

• Strong headhunting and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to assess both technical fit (subject/curriculum) and cultural fit
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to handle multiple mandates

Tools & Technology

• Familiarity with ATS platforms 
• Proficiency in sourcing tools
• Working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets for pipeline tracking and reporting
• Comfort with CRM tools and candidate database management

Language Skills

• Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Working proficiency in Hindi for candidate and client interactions
• Additional regional languages are a plus

Good to Have

• Understanding of IB, Cambridge, CBSE, ICSE frameworks
• Experience in leadership hiring (Principal / HoS / Directors)
• Familiarity with ATS tools and structured hiring processes
