Summary:
As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves working closely with large volumes of data to ensure its accuracy, accessibility, and reliability. The role includes designing and maintaining data pipelines that integrate information from various sources, enabling seamless data flow across systems. Collaboration with team members to understand data requirements and support reporting needs is a key part of daily activities. The position also involves continuous monitoring and optimization of data processes to enhance performance and support business analytics within the banking domain. Problem-solving and adapting to evolving data challenges are integral to the role.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and testing processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python Frameworks, Ab Initio.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Ab Initio.
- Strong expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Experience with integrating data from diverse sources including APIs, flat files, and cloud storage.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and handling complex SQL queries.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to support data analytics and reporting.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Python Frameworks.
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
