Responsible for leading strategic sourcing activities across assigned indirect spend categories within Growth Markets, including India and Southeast Asia. The role partners closely with business stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies, identify value creation opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements, and manage supplier relationships. Through effective sourcing execution, the role delivers sustainable value by optimizing costs, enhancing supplier performance, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including requirements gathering, supplier sourcing, RFx management, evaluation, negotiation, contract support, supplier selection, and implementation.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies within assigned categories to support business objectives and sustainable value creation.
• Provide strategic influence while building value-add relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve sourcing effectiveness and business outcomes.
• Identifies demand management, supplier consolidation, and sourcing opportunities that support cost optimization, value creation, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborates with Operational Procurement Teams, regional and global sourcing colleagues, and business stakeholders to support sourcing initiatives and procurement objectives across Growth Markets.
• Leverages procurement analytics, market intelligence, supplier insights, and digital tools to support sourcing strategies and business decision-making.
• Support supplier and sourcing risk management through proactive assessment and stakeholder collaboration.
• Guide stakeholders through a structured sourcing approach and establish early involvement to support project timelines, business requirements, and cost management objectives.

 

Business Requirements / Qualifications.

 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, or commercial roles.
• Experience leading sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience managing RFx activities, supplier evaluations, and sourcing initiatives across multiple spend categories
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a multi-country or regional environment.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience utilizing sourcing and procurement tools to support RFx management, contract management, supplier onboarding, and procurement operations. Experience with Ariba, SAP, or similar procurement platforms is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently within a cross-functional and regional environment.
