Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software elements to enhance performance and functionality are key aspects of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Payroll.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday US Absence Management.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software components using modern programming frameworks.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues across integrated systems.
- Familiarity with system integration and data flow between enterprise applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Workday US Payroll.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
