Job Description

Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Type: [Full-time]

Salary Range: ₹ 15,000 - ₹ 40,000 + Incentives

Job Summary: We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our team for sales and marketing of diesel generators. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding client requirements, promoting suitable technical solutions, and driving sales. The ideal candidate should have a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to explain products or services to both technical and non-technical customers.

  • Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities by visiting MEP Consultants, developing commercial, residential & industrial areas.
  • Understand customer requirements, help them for diesel generator (Dg Set) sizing and suggest appropriate rating of dg set.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to address customer needs
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep records of sales, customer interactions, and market trends
  • Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
  • 1–4 years of experience in sales or technical support roles
  • Strong understanding of technical products and solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle client meetings
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Preferred Skills:Experience in B2B or industrial/engineering product sales
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
  • Knowledge of CAD software is a plus
