Senior Accountant

Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant — CA Firm, Aligarh

We are a CA Firm in Aligarh seeking a Senior Accountant with prior experience working in a CA firm (not just industry accounting), capable of independently handling tax audits, account finalization, and GST compliance for multiple clients.

Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Aligarh City

Experience: 7-8 years, with at least 3-4 years specifically in a CA firm / accounting-and-audit practice (not solely in-house corporate accounting)

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle tax audit assignments (Form 3CA/3CD working, computations, documentation)
• Complete book-keeping and finalization of accounts in Tally for multiple clients
• TDS deduction, return filing, and reconciliation
• GST return filing (GSTR-1, 3B, annual returns) and compliance across clients
• Review and guide a junior accountant's work
• Coordinate directly with clients on account queries and audit requirements
• Prepare financial statements and support during statutory/tax audits

Requirements:

• B.Com/M.Com; CA-Inter or articleship background preferred
• 7-8 years' experience, with CA firm / multi-client accounting practice experience mandatory
• Strong hands-on Tally skills
• Solid working knowledge of GST, TDS, and tax audit procedures
• Able to manage multiple client accounts independently
