Job Description
Regional Operations Manager – Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Warehouse Management· Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching stock.
· Work closely with Pickers and Refillers, provide day-to-day guidance, and ensure smooth execution of warehouse activities.
· Monitor accurate inventory records through regular stock audits and reconciliation.
· Monitor stock movement to minimize shrinkage, damages, discrepancies, and losses.
· Ensure effective utilization of warehouse space and maintain an organized inventory flow.
· Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of products within the warehouse.
· Responsible for smooth operations of all the Warehouse Region-Wise .
· Travel inter city / intra city and do regluar Audits of stocks movemen In & Out.
Logistics & Stock Movement· Ensure smooth and timely movement of goods into and out of the warehouse.
· Coordinate with logistics teams and drivers to ensure efficient dispatches and deliveries.
· Provide on-site support during transit by accompanying drivers to client locations whenever required.
· Ensure secure Picking, Refilling, and Return of products/equipment from client locations.
· Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and daily task completion of team members.
· Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
· Conduct a daily huddle with warehouse Managers to review operational activities, identify issues, and ensure process adherence.
· Supporting formation of new Warehouses as per fssai guidelines. (Region wise preferably south)
Route Planning & Team Management· Plan and manage field routes for dispatches, refilling, collection, and other operational requirements.
· Assign workforce to routes based on daily operational requirements and priorities.
· Monitor & maintain duty rosters for Pickers, Refillers, and Drivers to ensure adequate manpower availability.
· Supervise, guide, and train warehouse and field staff to achieve productivity, quality, and safety standards.
· Track delivery performance, route efficiency, turnaround time, and productivity of field team members.
· Identify and resolve operational issues affecting timely dispatches and deliveries on route and handle vehicle related queries .
Reporting & Compliance· Should be available 24/7 with regard to warehouse operations, dispatch management, stock transit , any other route management issues. Should be capable of troubleshooting on road issues.
· Ensure accurate documentation of stock movement, dispatches, returns, and damages.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and applicable safety standards.
· Escalate inventory discrepancies, operational challenges, damages, and other critical issues to the concerned management team.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency.
Requirements· Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Quick Commerce, E-commerce, FMCG, Retail, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or Inventory Management.
· Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to handle warehouse and field teams.
· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
· Good knowledge of inventory management processes and stock reconciliation.
· Proficiency in MS Office and inventory/warehouse management software.
· Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems is preferred.
· Willingness to travel locally and inter-city, preferably across South India.
· Should be flexible with working hours based on operational requirements.
· Should have a two-wheeler/bike for local commuting.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
· Experience handling warehouse staff, drivers, Pickers, and Refillers will be an advantage.
· Prior experience in a field-based logistics or distribution environment will be preferred.
· Working knowledge of ERP/WMS and inventory management systems is an added advantage.
