Roundel is Target’s retail media business, a sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe environments, and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients.

A role with Roundel Creative (Target in India Marketing) is an opportunity to work with some of the best in the business for marketing, creative strategy, media & digital and you’d lead work that connects to millions of guests. Your influence will drive sales and grow brand love through work that’s guest-centric, on brand, category relevant and channel focused. The Roundel Creative team is a group of experts fluent in Target’s creative vision, brand standards, and guest experience. Our capabilities span copywriting, content creation, art direction, design, motion graphics, and production. As Roundel’s creative hub, we craft strategic, insight-driven work that reflects cultural trends and inspires guests to engage with the brands they love.

Roles and responsibilities:

As an Art Director Roundel, you’ll be expected to:
• Create and produce marketing content that helps us engage in a dialogue with Target’s audience, internal and external.
• Demonstrate your experience in digital best practices, design tools, and software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, to enhance productivity and scale in your work.
• Think conceptually, strategically and work effectively to help develop world-class creative across different digital platforms.
• Execute and scale digital channel design for Target's portfolio, while maintaining consistent brand standards with a high level of design finesse.
• Comprehend large amounts of information, be able to design, influence and follow style guides, manage and execute project assets, image retouching and cropping, while ensuring quality and accuracy of work as per standards and best practices.
• Assist in solving challenges & delivering innovative new experiences with internal & external partners.
• Reference competitive work and design systems to apply learnings into projects and to deepen your understanding of the Target brand and experience.
• Collaborate with global teams to execute projects by ideation, photography, art-direction, design, and helping manage production details.
• Communicate, articulate, and pitch ideas effectively to leaders and key stakeholders.

About you:

• 4-year college degree and/or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience or relevant skills
• A strong creative portfolio demonstrating Target brand expectations
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• Desire and ability to learn quickly
• Ability to establish rapport with peers
• Strong attention to detail
