Job Description
A General Manager (GM) of Sales for TMT (Thermo-Mechanically Treated) steel bars leads the entire sales organization, builds dealer-distributor networks, drives B2B project revenues, and handles profit-and-loss (P&L) accountability.
Strategy & Targets: Create annual sales plans, volume goals, and pricing budgets to expand regional market share.
Channel Management: Appoint, train, and expand the network of C&F agents, distributors, and retail dealers.
Institutional & Project Sales: Build direct ties with large builders, developers, government infrastructure bodies, and EPC contractors.
Team Leadership: Mentor regional sales managers, territory heads, and field executives to drive high on-ground execution.
Credit & Collections: Oversee cash flow, manage outstanding credit periods, and enforce strict financial compliance.
Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, steel pricing fluctuations, and regional construction demand trends
