Planning & Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Measurement

• Prepare Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills.
• Take site measurements and prepare Measurement Books (MB).
• Verify quantities as per Approved Drawings and BOQ.
• Prepare and certify subcontractor bills.
• Track and record executed quantities and balance work.

Client Billing & Coordination

• Submit bills to client/consultant within timelines.
• Coordinate for bill certification and approval.
• Attend billing-related meetings with clients and consultants.
• Address billing queries, deductions, and observations.

Variations & Extra Items

• Identify extra items, deviations, and variations.
• Prepare supporting documents for extra item claims.
• Maintain variation registers and billing abstracts.

Documentation & Records

• Maintain billing files, abstracts, and reconciliation statements.
• Prepare work completion statements.
• Support audits with accurate billing and quantity records.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years experience in billing for civil / waterproofing projects.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of BOQ, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent command of MS Excel.
• Familiar with measurement standards and billing formats.
• Basic knowledge of contracts and payment terms.
