QC Head - Vending Machine Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the existing Incoming QC and Finished Product/Dispatch QC team of 10+ members, including manpower planning, performance monitoring, training, and capability development.
• Develop and implement effective QC processes, inspection methods, SOPs, checklists, and documentation for systematic and traceable operations.
• Ensure quality of incoming electronic, electrical, mechanical, electromechanical components, assemblies, sub-assemblies, wire harnesses, and other materials.
• Supervise final inspection and testing of finished products before dispatch and minimize rejection, rework, and recurring defects.
• Possess strong conceptual knowledge of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering and ability to understand technical drawings, datasheets, specifications, parameters, and BOMs.
• Identify quality issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective/preventive actions with Production, Purchase, R&D, and other departments.
• Work with the Purchase team to communicate technical quality issues to suppliers and reduce rejection and technical communication gaps.
• Establish proper quality records, traceability, rejection analysis, and QC reporting systems.
• Monitor quality KPIs and continuously improve inspection and manufacturing quality.
• Support applicable BIS, customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. Experience in a BIS-certified company will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience managing a QC team of 10+ members.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of electronics, mechanical and electromechanical products and manufacturing QC practices.
• Excellent understanding of inspection methodologies, quality documentation, SOPs, and problem-solving.
• Strong technical communication and team management skills.
• Ability to work closely with Production, Purchase, R&D, Stores, and Management.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
