Senior Accountant

We are seeking a meticulous, process-oriented Senior Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations, tax compliances, and reporting processes.

The ideal candidate possesses strong discipline, a sharp eye for accuracy, and a commitment to strictly following established company processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will work closely with leadership to maintain high standards of financial integrity and timely compliance.

• Key Responsibilities
• Taxation & Compliance:
• Independently handle end-to-end preparation, reconciliation, and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, reconciliation with GSTR-2B).
• Manage accurate calculation, deduction, and timely filing of TDS / TCS returns (Quarterly returns, Form 16/16A generation).
• Core Accounting:
• DAY TO DAY INVOICING.
• Maintain general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries with accurate documentation.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports for Private Limited Company operations.
• Process & Standard Adherence:
• Openly accept direct instructions and strictly follow established company workflows and internal control policies.
• Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately without deviation.
• Audit & Statutory Compliances:
• Assist external auditors and tax consultants during quarterly, internal, and annual statutory audits.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping compliant with Private Limited Companies Act and Indian Tax Laws.
• Key Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Minimum 5+ years of direct accounting experience within a Private Limited Company.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's degree (M.Com / MBA Finance). Inter-CA / Inter-CMA is a strong plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced, hands-on working knowledge of GST filing and TDS rules/filings.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, functions).
