Pattern Master

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate patterns for knitwear garments as per design and production requirements.
• Cut samples independently as per the approved pattern and measurements.
• Handle pattern making and sample cutting from development to final approval.
• Understand garment designs, measurements, specifications, and construction details.
• Make necessary pattern corrections based on fitting and sample feedback.
• Coordinate with the Design, Merchandising, Sampling, and Production teams.
• Ensure proper fitting, measurements, and pattern accuracy.
• Prepare patterns for sampling as well as bulk production.
• Handle size-wise grading and ensure measurement accuracy.
• Optimize pattern placement to minimize fabric wastage.
• Maintain proper records of patterns and different garment styles.
• Identify and resolve pattern and fitting-related issues during sampling and production.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience as a Pattern Master in the knitwear/garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of knitwear pattern making, garment construction, measurements, and fitting.
• Hands-on experience in sample cutting is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of pattern grading and size-wise measurements.
• Knowledge of pattern-making software will be an added advantage.
• Ability to independently handle pattern development and sample cutting.
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
