Job Opening: Payment Follow-up & Online Inquiry Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to manage two key functions: customer payment follow-up and responding to online sales inquiries from platforms like TradeIndia and IndiaMART. This is a customer-facing role requiring good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle both collections conversations and sales-oriented inquiries professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Follow-up

Track outstanding customer payments and follow up via phone call and WhatsApp/email

Maintain an updated record of payment commitments and follow-up dates

Online Inquiry Handling

Respond promptly to inquiries received via TradeIndia, IndiaMART, and other B2B portals

Understand customer requirements and share relevant product/pricing information

Follow up on quotations sent to convert inquiries into orders

Maintain inquiry-to-order tracking and update lead status regularly

General

Maintain daily/weekly reports of follow-ups and inquiry status

Coordinate with sales and accounts teams for smooth order and payment processing

Ensure professional and timely communication across all channels (call, WhatsApp, email)

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in tele-calling, collections, inside sales, or a similar customer-facing role

Prior experience with TradeIndia/IndiaMART or similar B2B portals is a strong plus

Good verbal and written communication skills (Hindi & English; regional language a plus)

Comfortable with phone-based follow-up and basic MS Excel/WhatsApp Business use

Polite but firm approach for payment follow-up conversations

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts/leads simultaneously
