Senior Accountant

Handle day-to-day accounting entries including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.

Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts.

Review and verify accounting entries passed by junior accountants.

Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Ensure proper accounting and documentation of expenses, advances and provisions.

Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.

Handle GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and annual GST returns

Calculate and ensure timely deduction and payment of TDS.

Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.

Prepare/review Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet schedules.

Pass year-end adjustment and provision entries.

Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audit and financial statement finalization.

Ensure proper accounting treatment as per applicable accounting standards.

Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.

Prepare sales, purchase, expense, receivable and payable reports.

Provide financial information and analysis to management as required.

Track cash flow and working capital requirements.

Identify unusual variances and highlight them to management.
