Job Description

MIS Executive – Patna (BSRTC Project)Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain daily MIS reports related to bus operations.
  • Collect daily operational data from the depot and prepare reports on bus deployment, trips, schedules, running buses and off-road vehicles.
  • Track and report daily KM, trip completion, vehicle utilisation and operational performance.
  • Maintain daily driver attendance and deployment records and coordinate with the operations team for manpower availability.
  • Prepare reports on breakdowns, vehicle defects, accidents, delays, cancellations and other operational issues.
  • Track bus-wise performance and highlight operational gaps to the management.
  • Prepare daily reports on scheduled vs. operated buses, missed trips and vehicle shortages.
  • Maintain records of fuel consumption, charging/fuelling, battery SOC and other vehicle-related operational data, as applicable.
  • Coordinate with the depot and operations team to collect accurate data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for management and the Principal Operator.
  • Maintain proper records of operational data and ensure reports are submitted within the required timelines.
  • Prepare Excel-based dashboards, trackers and performance reports for management review.
  • Analyse operational data and highlight major issues, trends and deviations to the concerned team.
  • Support the Operations Manager with data required for performance reviews, client meetings and operational planning.
