Job Description
Job Description – Technical Procurement / Purchase
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure machined parts, standard components, raw materials, electrical items, and MRO items as per engineering and production requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and national suppliers.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications to ensure correct material procurement.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams for technical requirements and quality approvals.
- Prepare RFQs, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules, and process purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and timely delivery.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier data, pricing, and purchase documentation.
- Coordinate material deliveries with production requirements and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct market research on material prices, suppliers, and industry trends.
