Job Opening: Sales Executive – Pallithara Gold Pay, Mayyil
Pallithara Gold Pay LLP is looking to hire a Sales Executive for its Mayyil branch. The role is central to driving footfall and customer trust for our instant gold-buying service, where we pay customers within 30 minutes of gold evaluation.
Role Overview
The person will be the face of Pallithara Gold Pay at the Mayyil outlet — welcoming walk-in customers, explaining our instant payout process, assisting with basic KYC documentation, and coordinating with gold evaluation to ensure a smooth, transparent transaction experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and guide customers through the gold-selling process
- Explain rates, weighing procedure, and payout timelines clearly (in Malayalam and English)
- Handle basic KYC and documentation for transactions
- Build local trust and repeat customer relationships
- Coordinate with evaluator/cashier for smooth transaction closure
- Maintain daily transaction logs and cash/payout records
- Support local marketing efforts (leaflets, local outreach, referrals)
Ideal Candidate
- Prior experience in gold/jewellery retail, banking, or NBFC sales preferred
- Strong communication skills in Malayalam; working English a plus
- Trustworthy, presentable, and comfortable handling cash and gold
- Local to Mayyil or nearby areas preferred, for community trust and reach
- Basic smartphone/UPI app familiarity required
