About Laughing Water Productions LLPLaughing Water Productions LLP is an event management and production company involved in creating and executing a wide range of live events, concerts, cultural experiences, corporate events, weddings, and entertainment productions.

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and digitally savvy Social Media Executive who can take ownership of our social media presence and create engaging content that reflects the energy and creativity of our events.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Kannada and English content, social media trends, storytelling, reels, and event-based content creation. The candidate should also be comfortable working on-ground at events and capturing real-time moments.

• Key Responsibilities1. Social Media ManagementManage and maintain Laughing Water Productions LLP's social media platforms and its various verticals.
• Manage content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
• Ensure regular, consistent, and timely publishing across all relevant platforms.
• Maintain brand consistency in terms of tone, messaging, visuals, and communication.
• 2. Content CreationCreate engaging Reels, Stories, Posts, Carousels, Videos, and other social media content.
• Write creative and engaging captions in Kannada and English.
• Develop content that is relevant to regional audiences, current trends, events, and entertainment.
• Identify opportunities to create relatable, creative, and shareable content.
• Create content around upcoming events, artists, productions, campaigns, and company activities.
• 3. Event & On-Ground ContentAttend concerts, events, shoots, productions, and other company activities to capture behind-the-scenes and live event content.
• Create real-time content during events, including Stories, Reels, updates, and audience engagement content.
• Coordinate with the production and event teams to identify important moments and content opportunities.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of photographs, videos, and other content from events.
• Be comfortable working during weekends, late hours, and extended hours when required for events.
• 4. Content PlanningDevelop and maintain monthly and event-specific content calendars.
• Plan content around upcoming events, campaigns, launches, important dates, and regional occasions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand upcoming projects and plan social media requirements in advance.
• Ensure that content is planned and published according to campaign timelines.
• 5. Trend & Audience ManagementStay updated with the latest Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media trends.
• Identify trending formats, sounds, hashtags, topics, and content styles that are relevant to the brand.
• Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments and messages professionally.
• Identify opportunities to improve audience engagement and brand visibility.
• 6. Coordination & Campaign SupportCoordinate with photographers, videographers, designers, event teams, marketing teams, and external agencies to ensure smooth content execution.
• Assist with influencer collaborations, artist promotions, event promotions, and digital campaigns.
• Support the marketing team in developing creative social media campaigns.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure all required content is received within deadlines.
• 7. Analytics & ReportingMonitor social media performance and audience engagement.
• Track key metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, views, followers, and content performance.
• Prepare basic monthly social media performance reports.
• Identify high-performing and under-performing content and suggest improvements.
• RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Media, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or a similar role.
• Excellent written and spoken Kannada and English.
• Strong copywriting, caption-writing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
• Basic knowledge of photography, videography, and photo/video editing.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and digital content formats.
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with multiple teams.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel for shoots, events, and productions.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and extended hours when required by event schedules.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced event and production environment.

Preferred SkillsCandidates with any of the following will have an added advantage:

• Previous experience working with an event management, entertainment, fashion, media, or production company.
• Experience in event/concert/wedding/corporate-event content creation.
• Strong knowledge of Kannada culture, entertainment, trends, and regional audiences.
• Experience creating short-form video content and Reels.
• Basic photography and videography skills.
• Experience working with influencers, artists, or entertainment brands.
• Ability to independently plan and execute social media campaigns.

Portfolio RequirementCandidates should be able to share a portfolio or examples of previous social media, content creation, Reels, campaigns, or other relevant work.

Candidates with strong creative portfolios may be considered based on their demonstrated skills and work quality.
