Job Description

Pass accounting entries for:

Sales

Purchases

Receipts

Payments

Expenses

Journal entries

Maintain proper books of accounts and supporting documents.

Record invoices, bills, expenses and other financial transactions.

Ensure all entries are properly classified and supported by documents.

Assist in maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Assist in preparation of GST workings and returns.

Reconcile purchase data with GSTR-2B.

Check eligible Input Tax Credit (ITC).

Assist in preparation of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data.

Maintain GST-related records and supporting documents.

Coordinate with the Senior Accountant/consultant for GST queries.
