One Happy Crew is looking for a Video Editor with a social-first brain — someone who understands that great editing isn’t just about cutting footage, but about knowing what makes people stop, watch, feel and share.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes short-form content, understands internet culture and has a naturally Gen Z-first approach to storytelling.

What you’ll be doing

• Edit short-form, social-first content across Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms.
• Develop innovative, engaging and trend-aware edits that feel native to the platform.
• Work across reels, branded content, campaigns, behind-the-scenes content, promos and other digital formats.
• Bring your own editing language, references and ideas to the table — not just execute a brief.
• Keep up with trends, formats, music, transitions, memes, visual styles and evolving internet culture.
• Work closely with our creative and production teams to turn raw footage into sharp, entertaining and effective content.
• Deliver consistently and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.

What we’re looking for

• A strong understanding of short-form storytelling and social media behaviour.
• A Gen Z-first sensibility — you know what feels current, what feels forced and what simply works.
• Someone who can find the hook in the first few seconds and knows how to hold attention.
• Strong sense of pace, music, timing, visual rhythm and narrative.
• Proven experience handling a regular volume of edits while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving creative environment where briefs can change and ideas evolve.
• Strong command of Premiere Pro / After Effects or equivalent editing tools.
• Most importantly, a point of view. We want editors who bring something to the edit, not just execute instructions.
