Job Description
Freight Handling: Manually lift, move, and stack heavy packages, or use equipment like hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
Shipment Verification: Check incoming and outgoing goods against delivery schedules, invoices, or breakdown sheets to ensure accuracy and report any damages.
Load Securing: Wrap, strap, and safely secure items onto pallets or inside truck beds to prevent shifting and damage during transit.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols, properly handle hazardous or fragile goods, and keep the loading dock free of hazards.
Inventory Support: Assist in logging inventory and moving prepared shipments into staging areas for receivers.
