Fitter Technician

Position :- FItter -5

Location :- Raipur , Chhattisgarh

Salary - 18k to 25 k CTC

Key Responsibilities1. Tyre Fitment & Removal

• Perform tyre fitment and removal as per prescribed procedures.
• Ensure correct tyre mounting, demounting, inflation, and installation.
• Check tyre pressure and ensure proper fitment before vehicle release.

2. Tyre Inspection & Servicing

• Inspect tyres for wear, damage, punctures, cuts, and other defects.
• Carry out basic tyre servicing and maintenance activities.
• Identify tyre-related issues and report them to the supervisor.

3. Rotation & Alignment Support

• Support tyre rotation activities as per maintenance schedules.
• Assist with wheel alignment and balancing activities.
• Follow recommended tyre rotation and maintenance practices.

4. Breakdown Support

• Attend tyre-related vehicle breakdowns at customer locations or on the road.
• Carry out emergency tyre replacement, repair, or fitment as required.
• Ensure safe working practices during roadside breakdown assistance.

5. Safety Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies, SOPs, and PPE requirements.
• Use appropriate safety equipment and tools while performing tyre-related activities.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions immediately.

6. Equipment Handling

• Operate tyre-changing machines, air compressors, jacks, torque tools, and other workshop equipment safely.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the concerned supervisor.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of tyre fitment, removal, inspection, rotation, and servicing.
• Record tyre-related observations and breakdown activities.
• Complete required checklists and service reports on time.

8. Vehicle Readiness

• Ensure vehicles are tyre-ready and safe for operation after servicing.
• Conduct final visual and pressure checks before vehicle release.
• Escalate any critical tyre or wheel-related safety concerns.

9. Material Management Support

• Support proper handling, storage, and movement of tyres, tubes, valves, and other materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tyre/work area.
• Assist with stock verification and material tracking when required.

10. Customer Site Etiquette

• Maintain professional and courteous behaviour at customer locations.
• Follow customer-site safety and operational guidelines.
• Represent the company professionally while providing on-site and breakdown services.
• Education & QualificationsTechnicians: Minimum 10th / 12th pass.
• Fitters: Minimum 8th pass.
• ITI certification preferred.
• Experience0–3 years of experience in tyre fitment, tyre rotation, wheel balancing, alignment support, or basic vehicle servicing.
• Freshers with relevant ITI training may also be considered.
• Required Skills & KnowledgeBasic knowledge of tyre inspection, inflation, fitment, and servicing.
• Understanding of basic vehicle and wheel-related maintenance.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Ability to safely handle tyre-service tools and equipment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to work at customer locations and attend vehicle breakdowns when required.
• Key Performance ExpectationsSafe and accurate tyre fitment and servicing.
• Timely response to breakdown and on-site service requirements.
• Reduction of tyre-related downtime.
