Job Description – Full-Time Accountant

Position: Accountant – Full Time

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Salary: ₹30,000/- per month

Experience: Minimum 1+ years

About the Role

Nero Steels Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts and bookkeeping.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and other transactions in Tally.
• Handle GST, TDS, e-invoicing and e-way bill related accounting work.
• Perform regular bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare invoices, payment records and other accounting documents.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial statements/reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with management, customers, suppliers, banks and auditors whenever required.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and timely completion of assigned work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
• Excellent hands-on experience with Tally.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, e-invoicing and bank reconciliation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to independently handle day-to-day accounting activities.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Experience in a manufacturing/trading company will be an added advantage.
