Product Sales Manager-TRANSACTION BANKING-GTS Trade
As a Product Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding the bank's trade finance business. Your primary objective is to identify and capture new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the TRANSACTION BANKING-GTS Trade department. You will work closely with the sales and product development teams to enhance the bank's trade finance offerings and ensure a seamless client experience.- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their trade finance needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide valuable insights to clients and the bank's management.
- Collaborate with product development teams to enhance existing trade finance products and services and identify new product opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target industries and sectors for trade finance business development.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and internal stakeholders, showcasing the bank's trade finance capabilities.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of client satisfaction through timely response and resolution of queries and issues.
- Work closely with operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution of trade finance transactions and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the bank's trade finance offerings and build a strong industry presence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on trade finance.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance products, services, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools and software.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for business development purposes.
