Assoc Software Engineer

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Requires working knowledge and experience within own function/specialty area 
• Builds professional expertise, including knowledge of the domain, processes, customers etc. 
• Solves variety of problems of moderate scope and within own area 
• Analyzes possible solutions using technical expertise and independent judgment, but typically within defined practices and procedures 
• Guided by objectives of project or ongoing assignments 
• Plans own work priorities on a regular basis without guidance of management 
• Shares skills and knowledge with others while building working relationships 
• May participate in on‑call rotations and emergency response activities to support production systems and maintain platform reliability. 
• Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures 
• Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements 
• Meet or exceed all performance expectations 

Required Job Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field and 0-2 years of experience; OR in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least 8-10 years of related experience 
• Deep knowledge of at least one programming language. 
• Ability to document, track and monitor problems/issue to a timely resolution 
• Self- motivated and Collaborative problem-solving ability  
• Ability to work independently/in a team environment 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
