Data Governance Practitioner
Project Role : Data Governance PractitionerProject Role Description : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards, ensuring that data collection, storage, access, and usage processes are efficient and compliant. Additionally, the practitioner actively drives data stewardship initiatives to promote comprehensive governance practices across the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and data quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data governance challenges and recommend improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their understanding of data governance concepts.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Collibra Data Governance.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks.
- Experience in managing data quality, data stewardship, and metadata management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data governance requirements and translate them into actionable policies.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and their impact on data governance.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Collibra Data Governance.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
