Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead monitors testing activities, manages defect resolution, and ensures that quality processes and methodologies are effectively applied to meet project goals and stakeholder expectations. Collaboration across teams and continuous improvement of testing metrics are key aspects of daily responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies to ensure product quality.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with project timelines.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva CRM.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Veeva Vault.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and software testing methodologies.
- Experience in defining and tracking key quality metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness.
- Ability to design and execute end-to-end testing strategies across complex application ecosystems.
- Familiarity with defect management processes and tools to ensure timely resolution and reporting.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Veeva CRM.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
