Job Description
🚨 WE’RE HIRING: Female Patient Counsellor 🚨
📍 Locational: Janla, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
💼 Position: Patient Counsellor
👩 Gender: Female
💰 Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000/month
🎓 Qualification: Any Graduation
⏳ Experience: 1–4 Years (Patient Counselling)
Job Responsibilities:
✅ Provide psychosocial support to patients in hospice/home care settings
✅ Conduct distress screening and psychological assessments
✅ Maintain documentation of patient & family counselling sessions
✅ Work with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
✅ Plan and coordinate activities for patients & families
✅ Provide bereavement support to family members
✅ Assess patient eligibility for social/logistical support
✅ Attend academic sessions as part of KIPCER
✅ Conduct debriefing sessions & prepare monthly reports
Key Requirements:
🧠 Counselling skills & psychotherapy knowledge (Oncology/Palliative care/Healthcare settings preferred)
🤝 Good team player with emotional maturity
🗣️ Fluency in Odia & English mandatory
➕ Knowledge of Hindi/Bengali/other Indian languages will be an advantage
