We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Overview

• Role: Lead design and implementation of infrastructure automation solutions across Backup, Storage, and Systems Operations.
• Experience: 7–10 years.

Core Competencies & Qualifications

• Infrastructure Automation: Strong proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
• Cloud & Virtualization: Extensive experience managing and automating AWS cloud environments and vCenter/vSphere virtual machine infrastructure.
• OS Expertise: Deep knowledge of Red Hat Linux or equivalent Linux distributions, including maintenance, upgrades, and migrations.
• API Knowledge: Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs to facilitate seamless systems integration and automation workflows.
• Identity & Access Management: Working knowledge of Centrify for privileged access management and identity security within the enterprise.
• Observability: Experience with proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability tools.

Must-Have Skills

• Infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Administration and automation of AWS and vCenter environments.
• Practical application of API integrations for operational tasks.
• Comprehensive administration of Red Hat Linux environments.
• Management and implementation of Centrify solutions.

Technical Skills Portfolio

• Ansible, AWS, vCenter, Red Hat Linux, API/REST development, Centrify, Terraform, ServiceNow integrations, and Infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Strategy: Define automation architecture using Ansible, build reusable frameworks, and lead orchestration strategy.
• Systems & Cloud Management: Lead Red Hat Linux server maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and manage virtual machine environments across vCenter and AWS.
• Identity Security: Implement and maintain Centrify configurations to ensure secure, standardized access across the enterprise.
• Systems Integration: Utilize API knowledge to bridge infrastructure operations with ServiceNow and other enterprise tools.
• Security Standards: Ensure secure communication standards and best practices throughout the infrastructure.
• Mentorship: Mentor engineers on Linux best practices, cloud-native DevOps methodologies, and enterprise automation standards.
