Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

• Lead and monitor implementation of health, safety, occupational and environmental programs to prevent injuries and illnesses within the workplace and environmental accidents for a specific location.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements related to environmental and occupational, health and safety and identify areas for improvement at the local site.
• Execute an environmental and occupational, health and safety training plan together with P&C.
• Develop and manage an environmental and employee health & safety training plan.
• Participate in projects related to continuous improvement in HSE.
• Perform comprehensive analyses of HSE incidents and find root causes, implement required corrective and preventive actions in consultation with internal stakeholders.
• Manage and develop relationships with community groups, environmental organizations, and other stakeholders impacted by the organization's environmental performance.
• Render expert advice and support plant management, facilitate the attainment of safe operating conditions and adherence to all legal requirements.

JOB PURPOSE :

• Working together as part of the HSE Team, reporting to the HSE Manager or the Plant Manager, the HSE Specialist is responsible for implementing health, safety, occupational and environmental programs for a specific location to prevent injuries and illnesses within the workplace and environmental accidents.
• You would work closely with Production, Industrial Engineering, Quality and other departments to reach best HSE performance and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements related to environmental and employee health and safety. Your role would be to support the achievement of the best HSE performance, ensure the effective execution of HSE programs, and monitor the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.

YOUR  PROFILE:

•  M.tech industrial safety engineering /M.tech environmental engineering  or Diploma industrial safety from RLI or CL
• 7 - 8 + years in HSE Department    
• Excellent Problem solving capability with team work abilities
• Good in english.
