Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, mobile, and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Field Agent to manage on-site property operations and local market discovery. You will serve as our primary "eyes and ears" in the field, responsible for scouting new commercial listings, conducting property site visits, capturing high-quality data and media, and coordinating physical walkthroughs with prospective corporate tenants and buyers.
Core Responsibilities
- Property Scouting & Lead Generation: Identify unlisted or upcoming commercial spaces (office, retail, industrial) through local canvas mapping and networking.
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct physical inspections of properties to evaluate structural readiness, assess maintenance needs, and verify basic zoning details.
- Media & Documentation: Capture clear interior/exterior photography, video walk-throughs, and structural notes to build out digital property listings.
- Conducting Property Tours: Host and guide prospective business owners, investors, and corporate clients through physical site viewings.
- Market Intelligence Gathering: Track and report on local sub-market trends, such as new building developments, occupancy shifts, and competitor signages.
- Transaction Logistics: Place or remove corporate signage, verify lockbox placements, and assist in courier-routing local lease or deed paperwork.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Local Market Expertise: Exceptional knowledge of the assigned local territory, commercial hubs, and layout routing.
- Mobility Requirements: Must possess a valid driver’s license and independent, reliable vehicular transportation to support extensive fieldwork.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Clear, professional verbal communication to interface with business owners, landlords, and corporate executives.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency using mobile CRM logging tools, mapping software, and basic smartphone photography.
- Physical Resilience: Ability to spend up to 70–80% of the workday on-site or traveling, including navigating active commercial construction zones.
Preferred Experience & Education
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Real Estate preferred (or equivalent practical field-sales experience).
- Licensing: Active state real estate agent license is generally required or highly preferred depending on local transactional involvement.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in real estate field sales, commercial property management, or B2B field sales.
