Java Assistant Manager Hiring

DEVELOPER SKILLS REQUIREMENTS - ONEVZ DD SOE BACKEND API SERVICE

 

  • CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS

 

  • Java & Spring Stack: 
    • Java 8+ with Spring Boot 2.7.x and custom configuration
    • Spring Security with enterprise authentication patterns
    • Hibernate/JPA with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
    • RESTful API development with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
    • Maven build management and dependency configuration

 

  • Enterprise Integration: 
    • CyberArk password vault integration
    • JWT token generation and validation
    • SharePoint API connectivity and authentication
    • AWS SDK (S3, STS, IAM, KMS) integration
    • Apache POI for Excel processing

 

  • DevOps & Deployment: 
    • Docker containerization and Kubernetes/Helm deployment
    • Multi-environment configuration management
    • CI/CD pipeline integration and automated testing
    • JVM performance tuning and monitoring

 

  • EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS

 

  • JUNIOR (1-3 years): 
    • Spring Boot basics with REST API development
    • JPA/Hibernate with guidance on complex queries
    • Basic security implementation and Maven usage
    • SQL proficiency and Git workflow

 

  • SENIOR (4+ years): 
    • Advanced Spring ecosystem and enterprise security
    • Database optimization and performance tuning
    • Legacy system integration and modernization
    • Microservices patterns and distributed architecture
    • Code review leadership and mentoring

 

  • CRITICAL ENTERPRISE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Legacy & Security: 
    • Custom Spring configuration (not just auto-configuration)
    • Enterprise authentication beyond basic patterns 
    • Oracle database integration with legacy schemas
    • Multi-environment deployment (DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD)
    • Corporate network and proxy configurations

 

  • Domain Knowledge: 
    • Complex business rule validation
    • Multi-channel user permissions and role-based access
    • Scheduled batch processing and async operations
    • Feature flag management and configuration externalization

 

  • RED FLAGS: 
    • Only cloud-native/microservices experience (no enterprise legacy)
    • No custom Spring Security or authentication filter experience
    • No database optimization or performance tuning background
    • Only basic Maven usage without multi-module configuration
    • No enterprise integration or external API experience

 

  • ASSESSMENT FOCUS: 
    • Spring Security configuration and custom authentication
