Job Description

Supervising Associate-Talent-HRE

At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.

HRE: CoE Process Delivery and Enablement – Supervising Associate

If you're seeking a challenging and rewarding career in process delivery and enablement within a high-growth organisation, we have an exciting opportunity for you. At EY GDS, we value wellbeing, curiosity, and agility. We foster teams built on inspiration, collaboration, and belonging. We care deeply about our business, society, and clients. Our purpose is to build a better working world. If that resonates with you, we look forward to working together.

The opportunity

HR Enablement governs hire-to-retire processes and experiences in collaboration with the Talent CoEs. We deliver comprehensive pan-GDS processes aligned with statutory norms, regional nuances, business needs, and employee expectations. The HRE team spans Recruiting, HR Operations, Talent Development, Total Rewards, Wellbeing & Engagement, Digital & Analytics Planning, HR Service Delivery, Audit & Compliance, and Vendor Management.

In this role, you will support the Talent agenda across CoEs, driving the 5Ps (Problem, Process, People, Platform, and Product) for the respective CoE. You will develop a deep understanding of the CoE and its underlying processes, ensuring successful implementation of key projects from initiation to closure.

You will need to be collaborative and influential, working across functions to execute the charter. You’ll engage with SLs to align business needs, leverage existing solutions, and drive strategic outcomes. Additionally, you’ll identify and streamline interlocks between Talent Service Delivery, Talent Ops/Audits, and the CoE.

Your key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the development of the CoE function strategy and roadmap in collaboration with CoE leaders.
  • Support the CoE in designing a sustainable and scalable process framework across all GDS locations.
  • Facilitate change and support the implementation and successful adoption of special projects and initiatives, e.g., global project cascades, GDS feasibility assessments, and evaluations of current and future ecosystems arising from turnkey projects.
  • Ensure that functional operating capabilities (e.g., processes, technology, data, and organisation/people) are appropriate to achieve the CoE strategy and performance targets. Where possible, optimise the CoE service delivery model in alignment with the overall Talent operating model strategy and standards.
  • Collaborate with process owners in the CoE to co-define and co-deliver solutions aligned with business expectations and Talent strategy.
  • Work with Talent process, technology, and data specialists to review, reject, or prioritise change requests originating from the CoE.
  • Ensure timely governance and leadership decisions within the CoE and communicate these effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide effective CoE performance reporting to enable stakeholders with insightful, accurate, and timely reports on function performance (e.g., service delivery volumes, costs, emerging trends).
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the CoE team (e.g., process streamlining, optimising, and standardising delivery across GDS).
  • Define a function vendor strategy as required and manage vendor relationships to optimise service delivery standards and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and manage risks (e.g., statutory compliance, audit findings).

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience in service operations.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to develop clear, actionable plans supporting overall Talent strategy.
  • Ability to engage and influence others, with strong change management skills and a desire to act as a change agent.
  • Strong delivery focus and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all organisational levels.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Talent CoE teams to ensure centrally developed products and initiatives meet business/Talent requirements.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build consensus across diverse, often global, groups.
  • Experience in rolling out large-scale initiatives requiring extensive change management, leadership buy-in, implementation, and execution.
  • Proven ability to align leadership across conflicting priorities and viewpoints, with advanced influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, programme management, and problem-solving skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Graduate or a post graduate qualification in a Business or Human Resource discipline is desirable.
  • 4-6 years of proven HR generalist experience (e.g., Recruitment, core HR etc.)
  • Relevant working experience in delivering / managing talent initiatives

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working in a consulting organization or in a similar professional services environment
  • Experience of working in a cross-border, virtual environment would be beneficial

What we look for

  • A keen interest in self-learning and seeking opportunities to work on cross-functional HR projects.
  • A collaborative approach to working in a team environment.
  • A self-starter, independent thinker, curious and creative, with passion and drive.
