Practice Overview

Financial Services is one of the Industry Practices within Accenture’s Global Network (GN). Our team is spread across 6 cities in US, India, Philippines and Italy and focuses on serving global clients across Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance industries.

• Banking – Our practitioners possess a good mix of banking industry and consulting skills and have been involved in defining strategy, designing operating model & processes, and supporting implementation for building high performance banks. We have a strong focus on Payments, Core Banking, Credit Services and Digital Channels for large global financial institutions.
• Capital Markets – We work with our clients across the globe to help them address their most challenging and vital business issues, including setting their corporate direction, driving growth, and optimizing business & operating models. We help them with global strategy, insight-driven transformation, complying with regulatory imperatives and reinventing legacy systems towards improved operating performance.

Typical Consulting and Business Analyst responsibilities and experience include:

• Assess ‘AS IS – TO BE’ and define Target Operating Model (TOM)
• Develop and manage Business Requirement Specification (BRS/BRD)

• Prior experience of working on consulting projects is a must. An ideal candidate would have contributed to Transformation and Technology Improvement Programs for Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth management firms.
• Deep functional knowledge of operations, front and middle office, finance and risk functions.
• Experience in strategy, operations, process redesign, or business architecture in a Capital markets/financial services environment is highly desired.
• Hands on experience with tools like Murex, Calypso, SunGard Front Arena, Summit, Kondor+ and Wall Street Systems is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of financial products including equities, fixed income, derivatives
• The candidate should have a good understanding of industry trends, challenges, business and technology imperatives etc.
• Manager and Senior Manager aspirant must have strong strategy and consulting experience in leading client discussion, RFI / RFP / RFQ and Leading client discussions

Education Qualifications

Must have a Master Management Degree (MBA, PGDBM, MMS etc.) FRM/CFA/PRM or Other industry specific certification is added advantage.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Digital, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Blockchain and Risk Management from the Investment Banking and Investment Management perspective
• Should have excellent communication, presentation and client interaction skills.
• Should have an analytical bent of mind with capability of deciding on nature of information needed and the ability to derive business sense of such information.
• Should be able to think logically and present ideas convincingly.
• Initiative in keeping abreast of changing industry practices, analysis and design methods, tools and techniques and emerging technologies.
• Ability to develop & maintain working relationships with number of stakeholders and senior professionals
