Job Description

Deputy Manager-PCM

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Understanding of Vehicle proprietary parts (Mainly Suspensions, Steering, Front Axle,Brake)

Knowledge of Vehicle system parts supplier/process for above mentioned systems

1. Study & Analysis of SOR/ Drawings for vehicle proprietary components.

2. Knowledge of selection of ideal manufacturing processes based on drawing/Tolerances.

3. Knowledge of cycle time estimation / Most techniques

4. Cost Estimation for proprietary parts from drawing.

5. Component Cost Benchmarking.

6. Knowledge of target Costing / Business perspective.

7. Coordination with various agencies (Design/Product Planning / Sourcing)

8. Knowledge of VAVE

9. Cost Reduction & Cost Improvements in vehicle proprietary components.

10. Knowledge of preparing BOM for proprietary parts.

11. Standiazation of child parts.
