Sr Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design, build, and scale secure, high-performance systems. You will play a key role in backend architecture, technical leadership, and delivering robust cloud-based solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of strong backend development experience.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred), including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and high-scale backend systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Experience with security best practices is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
• Own end-to-end backend development, from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Lead and contribute to architecture and design decisions for backend systems.
• Build and optimize REST APIs and microservices used across products.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability, following best engineering practices.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features efficiently.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Drive improvements in system scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
