Translate MPP and distributed SQL database security strategy into standards, playbooks, testing frameworks, and support delivery teams through design reviews and oversight.
Responsibilities
Develop MPP distributed SQL security standards and playbooks
Define RBAC and workload-based access models
Define fine-grained access patterns across databases, schemas and objects
Define database security testing and access validation strategy
Review application and platform security designs against standards
Support audit evidence and access certification activities
Tools and Skills
Teradata, YugabyteDB, other MPP distributed SQL platforms
RBAC, Schema-level security, Secure connectivity, Encryption, IAM alignment
Access validation, negative testing, role certification, SoD verification
Security Playbooks
RBAC and Role Templates
