Job Profile – Electronics Material Technician

Experience: 1–2 Years

Role Type: Electronics Material Kitting & Inventory Coordination

1. Material Kitting & Issue

 Prepare and issue electronic materials/components as per BOM (Bill of Material) and

production requirements.

 Ensure correct kitting of materials for production, testing, and assembly requirements.

 Verify material quantity and correctness before issuing to the respective department.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

 Maintain accurate stock records of electronic materials and components.

 Update inward, outward, and stock entries in the software system regularly.

 Scan and record material issue transactions in the company software.

 Monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock.

 Ensure stock availability based on production schedule and material lead time.

3. Purchase Coordination

 Coordinate with the purchase team regarding material shortages and reorder

requirements.

 Intimate the purchase team in advance regarding low-stock, critical, and fast-moving

electronic components.

 Support procurement planning based on production schedules and supplier lead time.

4. Material Receiving & Documentation

 Receive incoming electronic materials/components and verify quantity and basic

documentation.

 Maintain proper inward records and documentation of received materials.

 Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of electronic components.

5. Physical Stock Verification

 Conduct monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation of electronic

materials/components.

 Ensure proper matching between physical stock and software/system stock records.

 Prepare and submit the monthly physical stock statement before the end of every

month.

6. General Responsibilities

 Support stock reconciliation and inventory accuracy.

 Maintain discipline, systematic material arrangement, and cleanliness in the

stores/material area.

 Coordinate effectively with production, testing, and purchase teams for smooth

workflow.

Required Skills

 Basic knowledge of electronic components and materials.

 Ability to understand BOM and component identification.

 Good memory, attention to detail, and presence of mind.

 Basic computer/software entry knowledge.

 Accuracy in stock updating and material issue documentation.

 Good coordination and communication skills.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Electronics Material Technician with

1–2 years of experience in electronics material handling, stores, or inventory management.

The candidate should be capable of electronic component kitting, stock maintenance,

software entry, documentation, and coordination with the purchase and production teams

to ensure smooth material availability and production support.
